Dr Maria Pérez-Hervada assumes the coordination of AssislaHB, the clinical laboratory of the Assistència Group.
The new coordination of AssislaHB aims to optimise processes, promote communication between teams, and ensure the highest quality in clinical analyses.
Dr Pérez-Hervada —Medical Deputy Director of SCIAS-Barcelona Hospital— has assumed the coordination of AssislaHB, the clinical laboratory of the Assistència Group, and has expressed her commitment to quality medicine, based on close and effective collaboration between the laboratory teams and those of the different specialties.
Among the resources already operational in the laboratory are the critical values alert circuit and the agile system for resolving incidents and queries, both managed by a highly qualified team of doctors, led by Dr Beatriz Candás, with a personal approach and complete availability.
Driving excellence and collaboration
Aware of the challenges involved in the start of the project, the new coordination seeks to foster fluid, two-way communication that captures the experiences and proposals of the Assistència Group professionals, with the aim of refining processes and strengthening efficiency and service quality.
In addition, they have been personally invited to visit the laboratory’s new facilities and see its operation first-hand, emphasising the intention to make AssislaHB a reference model, focused on diagnostic excellence and patient care.
