HLA Grupo Hospitalario strengthens its commitment to robotic surgery
The group has incorporated new Da Vinci systems in its hospitals in Murcia, Almería and Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) and the most advanced version at HLA Universitario Moncloa.
HLA Grupo Hospitalario has strengthened its commitment to robotic surgery with the incorporation of new Da Vinci robots in its hospitals in Madrid, Murcia, Almería and Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). In total, the group already has seven operational robots in its centres.
The arrival of this technology places HLA La Vega (Murcia), HLA Mediterráneo (Almería) and HLA Jerez Puerta del Sur (Cádiz) at the forefront of robotic surgery in their provinces, and will allow them to perform minimally invasive surgical procedures with greater precision, safety and control by the medical teams.
This technology also offers benefits for the patient, such as reduced intraoperative bleeding, reduced pain, a lower risk of complications, faster recovery and a shorter hospital stay, allowing an earlier return to daily activities.
HLA Universitario Moncloa incorporates the most advanced version
In the case of HLA Universitario Moncloa (Madrid), the first centre in the group to install this technology, in 2017, it has incorporated the Da Vinci 5, the latest and most advanced version. The new platform has an advanced intraoperative information management system capable of recording movement data and surgical performance metrics in real time.
This analytical capacity, enhanced by artificial intelligence, opens the door to a new era of data-driven surgery, in which each intervention is supported by precise and objective information to optimise both the surgical process and the patient’s clinical outcomes.
