Lavinia S. Coop., sole shareholder of ASISA, has held its 50th General Assembly in Madrid, at which it analysed the company’s progress and results and ratified its strategy for the coming financial years. After the Assembly, the ASISA Group brought together its main executives in Lisbon and established that, in the medium term, its objective is to continue growing, supported by the transformation of its model and diversifying its activity in order to operate in new insurance lines and continue expanding its own healthcare network.

The Assembly, held under the slogan We add life to time, reviewed the development of the strategic plan during the 2025 financial year, in which the ASISA Group achieved consolidated revenues of 2,227.6 million euros, 19.1% more than in 2024.

The president of the ASISA Group, Dr Francisco Ivorra, stressed that “the results reflect the strength of our company’s cooperative model and its ability to combine growth, investment and quality of care. The ASISA Group has grown in a very difficult year, marked by the improvement in Muface funding, after a period that generated a great deal of uncertainty in the sector”.

Growth in insurance activity

The Lavinia S. Coop. Assembly analysed the evolution of the ASISA Group’s insurance activity, which grew again in 2025, with the following areas standing out:

  • Growth and diversification: ASISA and ASISA Vida achieved joint revenues of 1,890.52 million euros in 2025, 21.1% more, and ASISA received authorisation from the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds to operate in the home insurance line.
  • Healthcare activity: HLA Grupo Hospitalario recorded revenues of 725.5 million euros and invested 53 million in modernising and expanding its network, with a special boost to robotic surgery through new Da Vinci systems.
  • Internationalisation: ASISA Portugal increased its premiums by around 30% and the Group continued to expand its activity in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East; in addition, the Green Cube hospital software is now implemented in 14 countries.
  • Innovation and digital transformation: ASISA renewed its mobile app and private area to facilitate access to telemedicine and move towards a more agile relationship and preventive, personalised care.
  • ESG strategy: The Group reduced its emissions by 82% compared to 2018, exceeding its decarbonisation target for 2030, and strengthened its social, labour, equality, training and research initiatives.
