The Clinical Neuropsychology Unit at HLA Moncloa University Hospital has developed “CREZCO”, a neuropsychological screening programme for children aged between 5 and 11, designed to enable the early detection of neurodevelopmental difficulties and to promote a preventive approach to children’s learning in schools.
Early detection to support learning
The programme is run both at the hospital’s own clinic and in collaboration with schools that request it. Rosa Coba, head of the Clinical Neuropsychology Unit, explains that “early detection offers a real opportunity to prevent academic failure and reduce the emotional and social impact of learning difficulties on children and families”.
