A boost for continuing professional development in healthcare
The event, held at Hospital de Barcelona, was chaired by the president of Assistència Sanitària, Dr Ignacio Orce, and the vice-president of SCIAS, Mr Martí Llorach, together with the participation of Dr Rosa Delgado, head of management control at Assistència Sanitària, and Dr Paula Saludes, medical director of Hospital de Barcelona.
The day included the academic lecture Reflections on the future of medical care, given by Dr Carlos Humet, medical director of Hospital de Barcelona for more than 30 years.
During his speech, Dr Orce congratulated the scholarship holders and highlighted the value of continuing education in the healthcare field. In this call, Assistència Sanitària awarded 33 scholarships, with a total amount of 30,367.96 euros, intended to finance 50% of the tuition fees for Master’s and postgraduate programmes in health sciences offered by Catalan universities.
