Without a doubt, this is an invention that has come to stay in our kitchens and contribute to a healthier and more balanced diet without having to give up sweet and fried foods. From entrées to vegetables and even desserts, here are a few recipes to get you started with your air fryer that you can cook in less than 15 minutes.
Four simple recipes for cooking in the airfryer
Fried eggs with potatoes and ham
1 of 4
The first step is to cut all the potatoes to the same size so that they fry evenly. Before putting them in, season them with salt and pepper to taste and coat them well with a tablespoon of oil or use a spray. It is advisable not to put more than two layers of potatoes in the airfryer so that none are left uncooked. Cook for 15-25 minutes, checking every 5 minutes, until golden brown.
In a separate pan, cook two eggs at 180°C for a few minutes. The cooking time will depend on how you like your eggs: If you prefer a runny yolk, you can cook them for around 4-5 minutes. If you like the yolk more cooked, let them cook for a couple of minutes longer, until they are to your liking.
Hot wings

Season the wings in a bowl with barbecue sauce and half a tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Season to taste with salt and pepper and spread them on the air fryer tray. It is important to ensure they don’t overlap to guarantee proper cooking. Set the temperature to 180 ºC for 15 minutes and, after that time, increase it to 200 ºC for a further 5 minutes to achieve a crispy finish.
Cod with asparagus in lemon sauce
3 of 4
Wash the asparagus and remove the hard part of the stalk. Add salt and a little oil.
Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help the cod to brown better in the airfryer. In a bowl, mix together the juice of one lemon, lemon zest, chopped garlic cloves, olive oil, salt and pepper. Place the cod fillets in this marinade and make sure they are well coated. Leave to marinate for at least 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavour.
Cook everything for 8-10 minutes at 180°C. The exact time will depend on the thickness of the fillets, but the fish should be firm and flake easily with a fork. If you want the cod to be more golden brown, you can add a couple of extra minutes.
