Sant Jordi turns Hospital de Barcelona into a hub of culture

The Hospital de Barcelona held a particularly lively Sant Jordi celebration, turning its lobby into a cultural and interactive space open to patients, staff and visitors. The event on 23 April was a great success in terms of both attendance and engagement.
Throughout the day, books, roses and special gifts were handed out, alongside activities designed to enhance the experience. As is tradition, inpatients were given a handcrafted rose as a gesture of kindness and support.
Una jornada repleta de actividades culturales
Book signings by authors Isabel Rodríguez, Isabel Nogueroles and Aguas Rodríguez were some of the main attractions, drawing large crowds of readers throughout the day. The programme was rounded off with fun activities such as a literary escape corner, as well as discounts and free gifts with book purchases.
The result was a lively celebration that once again cemented Sant Jordi’s status as a key event in the life of Hospital de Barcelona, where culture is also an integral part of patient care.
