The Grup Assistència laboratory is consolidating its role in supporting clinical diagnosis thanks to a model that combines technological innovation, analytical quality and support for medical practice.
Two years after its launch, AssislaHB has established itself as a strategic component of Grup Assistència’s healthcare model. The clinical laboratory, which centralises all outpatient laboratory testing for Assistència Sanitària and inpatient testing for Hospital de Barcelona, was set up with the aim of providing stronger support for doctors and helping to improve the quality of care.
A model based on innovation and quality
With a highly specialised team, 24-hour service and a network of over 150 sample collection points, AssislaHB combines technological expertise, convenient access and professional excellence. In 2025, the laboratory processed over 4.4 million analytical tests and nearly 191,000 outpatient requests, whilst also participating in external quality assurance programmes for 100% of its tests.
