SCIAS is holding its general assemblies to boost participation in the cooperative
During the spring, SCIAS held its preparatory assemblies, one of the cooperative’s main forums for participation and governance.
Between 26 May and 8 June, meetings were held for the various sectors and regions, covering both individual and corporate policyholders. These sessions elect the delegates who will subsequently take part in the SCIAS general assembly, which this year took place on 13 June, as well as discussing proposals relating to the future of the cooperative.
Participation, the cornerstone of the cooperative model
As a leader in the healthcare cooperative sector, SCIAS remains committed to a participation-based model in which members play an active role in decision-making and in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction. The general meetings also provide an opportunity to strengthen engagement with the cooperative project and to share views on the organisation’s challenges and goals.
