ASISA has been granted an authorisation to operate in the home insurance sector
The Spanish Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds (DGSFP) has authorised ASISA to operate in the home insurance sector. In the coming months, ASISA will begin marketing specific products in this field.
The Chairman of ASISA, Dr Francisco Ivorra, explains that “this decision to expand our business into home insurance is part of our plans to diversify our operations with the aim of providing comprehensive support to our policyholders and looking after their wellbeing in all areas of their lives. Starting new lines of business also enables us to reach new customer segments and strengthen our profitability, an essential element for the preservation of our cooperative model driven by reinvestment”.

ASISA plans to launch a comprehensive, innovative home insurance policy with a streamlined application process to enhance the policyholder’s experience. Furthermore, in line with the company’s personal insurance products, ASISA Hogar will focus on developing specific services and policies designed to support people’s health and wellbeing in their own homes.
